Good old-fashioned roadhouse/dive bar!
It's owned by Fred Bell, now! Who knows why, other than a tax write-off or to keep his heirs-apparent earning their keep, while he is still at the helm? Make no mistake about it...Fred is Boss, Manager, and Owner of Tings Bar! It's nice to have it open again! A town is rated by its bar and Post Office! the Bar has been closed at least two years, and since I retired as Postmaster of Jeff City, the Postal Service has taken aim to close this office (along with every other small office in the United States...unless those states have better Legislators in Office! We don't in Montana!! Thank God, the bar reopened! (That's a tough thing to say, since I haven't had a drink since October 1988...25th Anniversary, October 1st, 2013!)! Now that's a record to be proud of, isn't it?? Sometimes I know it is, other times??...well, I keep thinking it would be nice to have some friends, (men and women) and then I slap my head against the nearest hard object
